Over the past 20 years, Liz has successfully led education businesses in GM roles both in the private and public sectors, continuously honing her business and leadership skills. She is an experienced learning and development and management professional.
Liz has consulted to some of the top ASX 100 businesses around strategy execution, employee engagement, leadership and resilience. Liz also represented Deakin University at the United Nations in New York, presenting as an expert in Leadership and Management.
At the University of Melbourne, Liz led the facilitation of the pre-eminent Asialink Leaders program around the country, also coaching senior professionals in the banking, finance, consulting and arts space.
Among her many qualifications, Liz holds a Master of Marketing from Melbourne Business School and a BA from the University of Melbourne. Liz also has a deep understanding of the Asia capability space. She is of Hong Kong Chinese and Malaysian Chinese heritage and was raised in Hong Kong in her early years. Following the achievement of a language scholarship to study in Tokyo, she spent many years travelling throughout Japan and other Asian countries as a senior marketer in international education.
Lifelong learning is important to Liz and she regularly updates her credentials across the business and leadership areas. Liz also serves on the board of the Peninsula Community Legal Centre on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.
